About our
Greetland
nursery
Housed in a charming old school building, our nursery offers a unique and enriching environment for children to explore and learn. With three spacious rooms dedicated to different age groups – baby, toddler, and pre-school – and two secure outdoor areas, children have ample opportunities to play, discover, and grow.
At Ashbourne Day Nurseries, we pride ourselves on our strong connections with the local community. Through partnerships with the nearby care home, children often participate in various celebrations and activities, fostering intergenerational bonds and a sense of belonging.
Conveniently located in the heart of the community, our nursery offers easy access to motorways and is just a stone’s throw away from both Halifax and Huddersfield Town Centre. Nearby amenities include a Community Centre, Library, small shopping centre, and park, providing endless opportunities for exploration and engagement.
Our children are served seasonal, healthy lunches and snacks daily. We cater to individual dietary requirements and support the weaning process for babies, ensuring every child receives the nutrition they need to thrive.
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, our dedicated team of early years practitioners are committed to supporting all areas of your child’s development. From three months until they are ready for school, we monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enrichment experiences to support their individual growth across all areas of learning.
